A & O: Support Services for Older Adults is a not-for-profit organization that provides specialized services for older Manitobans across the province. The goal of these programs is to empower and support older adults in the community.
Help vulnerable older adults get their basic needs met and to be connected.
There are many low-income older adults that experience social isolation and other barriers that effect ones overall quality of life. One of those barriers include access to technology, and more specifically, cell phones. As you can imagine, not having a cell phone limits access to just about everything. A & O: Support Services for Older Adults is seeking donations of used cell phones to provide to isolated older adults in out city.
