Knowles Centre is a community-based, non-profit social service agency for children, adolescents and young adults facing difficult times in their lives. It began as a home for boys in 1907 and today provides a range of therapeutic and skills-based programs to young people from Manitoba and other communities throughout Canada.
Knowles Centre seeking volunteers to complete an extensive painting project in two of our live-in treatment homes. These homes have not have significant changes since being converted from semi-secure unit.
Your participation in our Painting Project is a terrific team building experience while helping these house for youth transform into homes.
Duties include taping and placing supplied drop cloths, painting walls and trim in designated areas and end of day pack up.
Volunteer day(s) are flexible but have to be arranged minimum two weeks in advance.
